SVN/RECA provides brokerage services as well as transactional counseling to individual and institutional clients as well as debt and equity placements on a nationwide basis, with a particular emphasis on 1031 (tax deferred exchange) buyers in the major markets in the Southeastern United States. RECA was founded in 1996 by Scott Rogers, after Scott’s 13 years’ of brokerage, valuation/appraisal, mortgage banking and investment analysis experience. In early 2002, RECA joined Sperry Van Ness as a national affiliate to increase RECA’s exposure to West Coast properties and buyers, SVN’s nationwide network of investment sales brokers and the excellent brand name recognition of SVN across the nation and the globe. Today, SVN/RECA is focused exclusively on transactional services and counseling on investment properties.
